This past year we tried a new recipe – Toasted Marshmallow Cups and Baileys Irish Cream. This was a little recipe someone I know posted on Facebook. We made these while camping on Vixen Lake, part of the Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park.
We need to work on our toasting, but it was good enough that we will try again.
Ingredients
Jumbo Marshmallows
Baileys Irish Cream
Tools
Marshmallow Toasting Stick
Campfire with lots of coals
Steps
Toast a giant marshmallow, pull out the soft insides. Fill the toasted shell with Baileys and drink – quickly.
This was fun and delicious but very messy. Our marshmallows leaked. We need to refine our toasting technique or use a bowl.
